Gilbert is the best city for working parents, according to NerdWallet.
The southeast Valley town's affordability, high median incomes and good schools all helped land it on the top spot in the list of 100 best cities for working parents.
"Gilbert has transformed itself from the 'Hay Shipping Capital of the World' to a diverse suburban center," writes NerdWallet. "With moderate costs and a high median household income, Gilbert offers affordability and also high-quality schools."
But Gilbert was not the only Arizona city or town to make the cut. Seven Arizona cities were ranked: Chandler (No. 3), Mesa (No. 10), Scottsdale (No. 11), Glendale (No. 14), Phoenix (No. 45) and Tucson (No. 48).
NerdWallet teamed with Business Insider on the rankings, analyzing four factors: affordability, child care costs, school quality and family friendliness.
The top 5 cities are listed below. Click here to read more information and see the full rankings.
